Julia Lipovsky
Julia Lipovsky is a contemporary artist and illustrator based in Cincinnati, Ohio. After studying fine art and creative writing at the Maryland Institute College of Art, she returned home to Cincinnati, where she has been involved with many of the city’s arts and cultural organizations. She was the 2023 Rosenthal Education Center Artist in Residence at the Cincinnati Art Museum and her installation, Mural of Cincinnati, has been reprised alongside past residents for the 10th anniversary of the REC. Her work can also be seen in the Contemporary Arts Center’s Creativity Center.
Julia and her husband Jon Flannery of Cryptogram share a storefront studio in Cincinnati’s Northside neighborhood, where they organize community events and often collaborate.
